Consulting Experience

Jodie Mitchell is an experienced archaeologist and cultural heritage consultant, being the Director of Alpha Archaeology Pty Ltd since 2004. Working in Victoria, all other Australian states and territories and overseas in Thailand and Georgia her skills include:

Jodie has extensive experience in a number of varied projects with many different clients and has been the cultural heritage advisor and author of many approved CHMPs. Some of these projects include; road and freeway construction, telecommunication cable routes, housing project development, pipelines and infrastructure, commercial subdivision development, mining and quarrying projects.

She has also been the senior archaeologist, project manager and cultural heritage advisor of anumber of salvage excavations, due diligence reports and the National Heritage Manager for a nationwide optic fibre telecommunications installation project conducting cultural heritage assessments throughout most states and territories of Australia.
