Consulting Experience

Guadalupe has worked extensively for more than 13 years on cultural heritage projects (European and Indigenous) in South Australia, Western Australia and NSW as well as in the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

Guadalupe has managed and contributed to a broad range of consultancy projects including;

RESOURCE and MINERAL EXPLORATION

* Cultural heritage surveys and reports, archaeological salvage and impact mitigation programs, cultural heritage management plan and audits, GIS Spatial analysis and mapping as well as heritage advice for major resource development projects such as, Rio Tinto Iron Ore, Rio Tinto Coal, Hancock Prospecting, Fortescue Metals Group as well as mineral exploration programs in South Australia for companies such as Barrick Gold and OzMinerals.

MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE AND PLANNING

* Cultural heritage services for major infrastructure projects in Adelaide and South Australian including, Roads, bridges and railways (NSW RTA, SA DPTI), wind farm developments (Pacific Power, Roaring 40's, Suzlon), Electricity and water supply (Electranet, Integral Energy and SA Water, NSW Water) as well as major urban planning and development projects for State and Local Government as well as commercial development projects.


Prior to moving to South Australia where she is currently based, Guadalupe worked extensively as a heritage consultant in New South Wales preparing heritage assessment reports, conducting archaeological testing and salvage, impact mitigation programs, cultural heritage management plans and audits on European heritage projects for major urban planning, development and mining projects (Leighton's, Meriton, LendLease and PBR).

In her role as a Senior heritage consultant, Guadalupe is familiar with the legislative requirements for Indigenous and European heritage in NSW, SA and WA and has significant experience in aquiring and reporting to approval standards.
